Improper Use of Rubber Gloves by Food Service Employees

so this has been bothering me for a while now, but i witnessed another example of how food service employees don't know how to use rubber gloves. yesterday was the wedding of my downstairs neighbor. my roommate and i went to the wedding and reception for a few minutes, and in just the few minutes one of the food services people screwed up. as any person with common sense knows the reason people wear gloves when preparing food is to keep the germs on their hands from contaminating the food. with that said back to the wedding. i was standing there people watching and one of the food guys walked over and changed the temperature on the thermostat with his gloves on then returned to the food. so now he is getting the thermostat germs into the food for the wedding guests. on another occasion i went to a subway where most of the employees were teenagers. on young man comes over to me and takes my order. he put on new gloves and made my sandwich. but when i paid he kept his gloves on, handled money, and then returned to the next customer in line without changing his gloves. all of this bothers me because here you have employees looking like they are taking the proper precautions to be clean and not contaminate the food they serve. but in the end it's almost like they think the gloves are there to make sure they don't get mustard on their hands and they don't care about money germs off your favorite sandwich.
